Acupuncture Effect on Thoracotomy Pain
Research conducted at the Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center studied the effect of a specialized acupuncture technique on the ability to reduce pain of thoracotomy. The technique studied did not have an cause any reduction in pain or reduce the amount of medication used over the study period.
